GREAT BRITON IS NOTHING MORE THAN JUST A MEMORY OF YESTERDAY:
The Referendum is done . . . and the SCOTS, after centuries of irreconcilable differences with the BRITS, due to differences in culture, religion and nationalism, have finally had their REFERENDUM to SEPARATE from England.
55% NO . . . 45% YES – THERE IS NO WINNER:
It doesn’t matter at this point who won. What only matters is WHY there was a need for the referendum? And how and why Britain lost its greatness. And that England will NEVER resurrect itself as it once was.
THIS IS NOT HOW REAL COUNTRIES SUSTAIN THEMSELVES:
The unaffordable DEALS to appease the Scots for staying within England are already well under way, stripping away even more sovereignty from the once global super power, where the Sun Never Set On The British Empire.
I’VE BEEN THERE AND HAVE DONE THAT . . . IT’S A MUG’S GAME:
Coming from the Ethnocentric Province of Quebec, where the Quebecois (French) language and culture are so alien to the ROS (Rest Of Canada) . . . I can tell you for a FACT, that two very different cultures with different concepts of social and political values, let alone significant TRIBAL and language differences . . . CANNOT successfully survive together as a NATION.
BUYING VOTES:
Inevitably, the minority community always DEMANDS far more than they deserve, mostly because they’re the minority community with a sufficient number of concentrated TRIBAL votes, which to a great extent influences who will govern, and who will be governed.
WHEN MERITOCRACY IS REPLACED BY TRIBALISM:
Sooner rather than later . . . just as with AFFIRMATIVE Action, the unfairness of a favored minority becomes a point of substantial acrimony and incompetence, since the BEST are far too often passed over in favor of those who are less proficient, only because they are part of the “TRIBE” with polling influence.
THE GENIUS OF THE AMERICAN MELTING POT:
There are so many facets to the EXCEPTIONALISM of the United States of America, that not just one component can be attributed with making the USA the most incredible country that has ever been.
But . . . if I had to choose just one, it would be THE MELTING POT, since no other nation in the world that I am aware of, has so successfully blended so many disparate cultures into just one . . . AMERICAN.
But, because of the LEFT . . . THIS TOO IS CHANGING.
THE WORLD OF AMERICAN ENVY . . . EVEN WITHIN CANADA:
As A Canadian, I grew up with the ridiculous concept of HYPHENATED Canadians being a good thing, specifically French-Canadians, which in reality, just by the description alone, DIVIDES the country between TRIBES.
And since the Prime Ministership of Canada’s Intellectual LEFTIST Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who had a visceral dislike for just about all things American brought into Canada the OFFICIAL Ministry of MULTICULTURALISM in the 1970’s, we have become a very definite nation of HYPHENATED Canadians.
In EFFECT . . . Trudeau emphasized the celebration of SEPARATE and INDIVIDUAL cultures of national origin, which effectively OPPOSED the celebration of being an UN-Hyphenated Canadian, all but guaranteeing that the English majority would never reach its true cultural, political and global potential.
TRUDEAU AND THE CANADIAN LEFT STRIPPED CANADA OF OUR PRIDE:
I REMEMBER as clearly as if it were yesterday, how I was taught all the way back in GRADE School (pre-Trudeau), how nationalism is a very BAD thing . . . just as were also taught how America had NO culture, while Canada was steeped in culture.
WHAT A CROCK TO SUFFER ONTO CHILDREN:
It took quite a while for me to understand that Canada’s Culture was NOT Canadian at all. In FACT, it was a DOG’S Breakfast of European Cultures, predominantly British and French, which our educators STUFFED into our young minds, as if this was something that should be celebrated.
OUR RESPECTIVE MOTTOS SAY IT ALL:
Even today, when I ask fellow Canadians what Canada stands for . . . and what is our National MOTTO? I’m answered with a pathetic shrug.
America’s National Motto – LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Now that defines a real Nation.
Canada’s National Motto – PEACE, ORDER, AND GOOD GOVERNMENT. That also says all that needs to be said about Canadian values.
In the 1995 Quebec Referendum to separate Quebec from Canada, Quebec’s future Premiere (Lucien Bouchard) and leader of the Separatist side . . . said that “CANADA IS NOT A REAL COUNTRY”. He was right.
And just as Britain BOUGHT and paid for the Scots NOT to separate by guaranteeing them all manner of privileges not available to the rest of England, Canada did the same with Quebec in 1995. A commitment that is nothing less than a bottomless pit.

In my last Editorial, a reader (Walton Max Campbell, Marksville, Louisiana) who wrote on the COMMENT page . . . likened me to “William B. Travis, Jim Bowie and Davey Crockett and the other 253 Texas patriots” who defended the Alamo to the last man, which to me, is a compliment of the HIGHEST Order, since these incredibly BRAVE American Patriots displayed the QUINTESSENTIAL components that ENSHRINES the best of the American Culture.
When Anne and I stood in the Alamo, we spoke to each other in reverent whispers in what to us was hallowed ground.
CALLING SOMEONE UN-AMERICAN SEEMS TO BE UN-AMERICAN IN ITSELF:
ACCORDING TO THE AMERICAN LEFT . . . being a PROUD and visible American has somehow MORPHED into being a bad thing, as PATRIOTS are constantly being portrayed by the Bureaucracy, Media, Academia, and Hollywood as KOOKS, GUN-NUTS, SURVIVALISTS, PREPPERS . . . and whichever other demagoguery they can think of.
I wonder how the LEFT of today would portray the Patriots of yesterday, who almost 250 years ago created the America . . . the LEFT seem to so desperately want to change?
I’ve written many times how I think America is going to collapse under her own weight, which I truly believe is an inevitability for a host of reasons. But, just as I enunciated in the preceding . . . that one of the GREAT reasons for America’s EXCEPTIONALISM – is that America is the ONLY nation on earth where every culture, religion, color . . . etcetera, could come together in a MELTING POT to lose their old selves while becoming ONE UNITED PEOPLE . . . is also a reason to FEAR.
WHAT BUILDS CAN DESTROY:
And just as I feel that the MELTING POT, out of all the incredible assets in the American Facet that created this incredible country was so important in the building process, is why I also believe that the HYPHENATION of Americans some 250 years after her FOUNDING, will be amongst the most important issues that will lead to America’s demise.
The next time people refer to Black Americans as African-Americans, or Spanish Speaking Americans as Latino-Americans, or American Indians as Native-Americans, UNDERSTAND THIS: They are dividing America along TRIBAL lines.
IN MY NEXT EDITORIAL, I will write what I believe to be the solution for a HYPHENATED country.

As you said, Hillary will not run, and God help us all if the “LYING Elizabeth Warren” does run! Also, remember that the SUPER LEFTISTS who are throwing each other under the bus have had a great mentor who taught them very well in how to do this, namely Barack HUSSEIN Obama. Mr. Alexander, I just love your “FENCE” example. My choice for president would be Mike Huckabee. He has a lot of COMMON SENSE. Allen West would also make a great VP and could “revamp” our military. What do you think?
