JEFFERSON . . . AS MUCH TODAY AS YESTERDAY

A FLICKER OF THINGS TO COME:

THOMAS JEFFERSON . . . “The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

THE LEFT IS NOT JUST DESTROYING AMERICA:

I recently read a chilling report on the economy and future of the Canadian Province of Ontario, where Anne and I call home.

Because of successive LIBERAL governments, Ontario, which not more than a decade ago used to be the financial and manufacturing engine of Canada, has all but become an albatross around the neck of the rest of the country.

LEFTIST Provincial governments have squandered vast fortunes of Ontario’s tax base on the altar of socialism, that is in itself failing miserably, because there simply isn’t sufficient revenue from the MAKERS to carry the weight of the TAKERS.

Ontario’s INSANE drive to make this Canadian Province the GREENEST place on earth, has created an energy CRISIS in cost, that has placed normal energy requirements out of reach for MOST people.

Not more than several weeks ago, Anne and I received a letter in the mail from the Provincial Electricity Office, as did every other Ontario resident that uses electricity, that implores us NOT TO PANIC when we receive our adjusted energy bill, because it is going to be devastatingly (my word) expensive.

WHO EVER ELECTED ANY GOVERNMENT TO DROWN THE PEOPLE IN DEBT?

How did Ontario, in just ten years, go from being the economic engine of Canada to a failed and grossly indebted national disgrace?

In the fewest words possible . . . it was because the people of Ontario were STUPID enough to elect and reelect incompetent LEFTIST jackasses, who utterly harmed the elderly and those on minimal fixed incomes, who can no longer afford to heat and air-condition their homes and still enjoy a normal lifestyle.

When you expect something-for-nothing . . . inevitably you get NOTHING.

BECAUSE STUPID PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO VOTE . . . businesses in Ontario find it hard if not impossible to turn a profit, so new businesses are not being formed, old businesses are just hanging-on, and just about no one is creating jobs.

Because LEFTISTS love to REGULATE, everything in Ontario is going through the roof in terms of costs, because someone has to pay the bureaucrats who regulate. And for every regulation – the costs are in far more ways than just one . . . astronomical.

THOMAS JEFFERSON . . . “Most bad government has grown out of too much government.”

IT SIMPLY DOESN’T MATTER WHERE:

It doesn’t matter if it’s in America or Canada. It doesn’t matter if it’s in California or Ontario. What matters is that the government has grown too big.

FAR TOO BIG:

It matters only that the number of people who have their hand out . . . outnumber the people who have their hands occupied by labor. It matters that the politicians use the money of the MAKERS to BUY the votes of the TAKERS.

It matters that huge businesses acknowledged by the politicians that are TOO BIG TO FAIL, have become a cancer upon the FREEDOM of competition, protected by LABOR and GOVERNMENT . . . also deemed TOO BIG TO FAIL.

WHAT MATTERS – is that we’ve crossed the RUBICON . . . the point to no return, where nothing short of insurrection of one type or another will right the wrong.

There is no longer a political solution, since EVERY politician with the exception of a rare few are corrupt on power, a bloated political salary, and perks they will never surrender, and will defend by passing onerous laws at all and at any cost.

THOMAS JEFFERSON . . . The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.

I always marveled at the history of revolution . . . at how ordinary people rose against impossible odds to overthrow TYRANNIES. At how governments surrounded by political barricades of their own making, which seemed impenetrable, eventually fell to the will of the people.

I’m certain that then . . . much like now, regardless of the epoch, whether it was the revolution that forced John, the all powerful King of England in 1215 at Runnymede to accept and sign the Magna Carta . . . or the ELITISTS in Revolutionary France, who never expected a date with the GUILLOTINE, who fell in a time of TERROR that spanned a decade from 1789 to 1799.

REVOLUTIONS ARE NOT PLANNED . . . they just happen. LEADERS are neither grown nor elected . . . THEY RISE FROM THE MASSES.

THOMAS JEFFERSON . . . “And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

A FLICKER OF THINGS TO COME:

This past week, we saw a spark of INSURRECTION in Nevada, when cattle ranchers and people who had nothing whatsoever to do with cattle, took to the hills in cars, pick-up trucks, on foot and on horseback, armed with holstered handguns, AR 15’s slung across their shoulders, and sniper positions on overpasses taking aim at armed Federal Rangers.

THOMAS JEFFERSON . . . “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”

Make no mistake about it . . . this Nevada INSURRECTION had very little to do with cattle and grazing rights, as it had EVERYTHING to do with a population of MAKERS who’ve had more than enough with a government, which has forgotten who serves whom.

The government retreated from the standoff, NOT because as they stated; that they feared for the safety of the people . . . but rather, because of its FEAR FROM THE PEOPLE.

I see no exit from the decline of our countries (America and Canada) for THREE reasons:

1 – We are served in all Parties by the worst politicians one can imagine in this day and age.

2 – The TAKERS outnumber the MAKERS.

3 – The electorate is either too uninformed and/or too STUPID to vote.

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF . . . AND DESTINY CANNOT BE DENIED.

What we saw in Nevada was nothing more, and nothing less than a peek into the future.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  1. “Obama BLEW so many opportunities to be a great President ” how can a stupid, vicious, narcissist, unfit and probably some of his brain was fried from using too much drugs can be a “great” president. He could never have been nor he had intentions to be one. It is all a show, a charade of BAD intentions and mostly inability to be any kind of president. He took the baton from Carter and left Carter light years behind to be the worst president ever of the United States of America.
