I Watched Rick Scott . . . the Outgoing Governor of the State of Florida on the Chris Wallace (Fox Sunday Show February 25, 2018), as Scott was Tripping on his Tongue like the Hypocrite he seems to really be, as he explained his Proposal to Protect Children from Gun Violence at Florida Schools.
I “think” I know where he really Stands on Gun Issues, which is Irrelevant, because what he really Believes-In, is not what he will Promote if he thinks it will hurt his Political Future.
SO LET ME MAKE ALL OF THIS REALLY CLEAR IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:
1 – Guns Do Not Kill People . . . People Kill People. And as much as Gun-Haters plead differently, it’s as True Today as it was when it was First Said.
2 – There Is No Such Thing As An Assault Rifle. Everything can be used as an Assault Weapon, which includes Feet, Fists, Clubs & Knives, which Kill more People than all the Shootings Combined.
3 – There are no CLIPS used in any of the Guns being Discussed. They’re Called Magazines or MAGS – BUT NOT CLIPS. So if any of these Gun-Haters want to Lie, at least let them Lie with some Accuracy.
4 – Everyone . . . AND I MEAN EVERYONE – From the High School, High School Social Workers, State & County Social Services, Local Police and the FBI are the Culprits who let this LUNATIC BUY & KEEP GUNS . . . But it seems from everything I am Reading, Hearing and Watching . . . No One At The Top Is Responsible. So Where Does The Buck Stop?
HOW STUPID DOES THE GOVERNMENT THINK THE PEOPLE ARE? DON’T ANSWER:
5 – The NRA, which had NOTHING to do with the Shooter, the School, the Various Social Services, and a Multitude of Police Departments . . . Including Local, State & Federal . . . IS BEING BLAMED FOR THE SHOOTING.
It’s Like Blaming AAA For Unlicensed, Uninsured, Bad, Drunk, Distracted, Speeding, Light-Jumping, Car Thieving & Texting Drivers when Accidents Happen.
6 – No Reasonable Gun Owners . . . INCLUDING THE NRA – are Opposed to SERIOUS Background Checks, before allowing the Purchase of a Gun to be Consummated.
7 – The LEFT are all up in Arms, because a Lunatic like this 19-Year Old should Never Have Passed The Background Check To Buy A Gun . . . So whose Fault was that, when you consider it is the BLEEDING HEART LIBERALS, who for Generations, have successfully DEMANDED to their Great Success, that the Court History of Minors (Under 18) CANNOT BE MADE PUBLIC, and must Remain Sealed For Life, Regardless of how Screwed-Up the “Youth” was before turning the Age of Consent.

Children whose impressionable minds have been fed Marxist garbage for the last 12 years of their lives are suddenly veritable fonts of wisdom. Howard, you hit the issue right on. Look at Switzerland and Israel. They have guns that can be used at will, but the most important thing in the USA is that the society is sick and shops are eager to sell guns than wait for a police check. Howard, you are bang on correct. First they remove all checks and balances because they “infringe upon people’s rights,” then they complain when anyone can flout the system and do as they please. You can’t condemn anyone today for anything, so as a result you get people doing as they arrogantly please. G-d forbid there should be an expectation of anyone to uphold to any values. That is only considered offensive. Better to let everyone roam like animals without direction.
The leader of a country sets the tone. Previous president encouraged/forced the FBI, DOJ, DHS, etc to ignore basic police procedures, essentially rendering them useless for their intended purposes. I observed about three years ago that he had turned the US into a banana republic: rule of law was whatever felt good that day.
Howard, your right on the money. Think of it this way, Liberals/Democrats are saying that a five year old is old enough to choose their gender but an 18 year old is not old or responsible enough to own guns.
Reality is that someone has evil plans to kill or maim that they can utilize anything to do so: knives, fertilizer, pressure cookers, cars/trucks/vans, planes, pencils, hammers and etc. No amount of “laws” will be a deterrent to an evil criminal but will simply punish the law abiding.

Love your comparison of the AAA to the NRA…makes SENSE! MONEY TALKS, and the NRA speaks very LOUDLY–especially to POLITICIANS who ACCEPT their FUNDING! The failure of leaders to follow or enforce law is also quite evident concerning our immigration laws. Too many of our elected officials believe it is their right to ignore enacted laws. We should all work to remove these people and vote accordingly.
When I was in highschool, (mid 50’s) I’m sure that a greater percentage of folks had guns and used them. there were no mass shootings to contend with. We don’t have a gun problem in this country we have a MORAL problem, plain and simple. Until we improve in that area, the mayhem will continue.
I know I sound like a lunatic, but the reality is that the Liar, the Enemy of God, Satan himself, is behind all of this, blinding the minds of so many, spreading a spirit of deception so that people will not/cannot see the Truth. You are right! Assault Weapon is an oxymoron. All my firearms are sporting arms or defensive weapons, situationally.
There is no accountability no days.. Children can raise hell and have records sealed at 18 even if they committed some felonies. When we bring back and inforce the Death Penalty in a timely manner (less than 2 years)we will see a significant change in criminal attitudes. Now they go to prison and become smarter felons.
Our schools should be manned by our National Guard or Vets that are newly discharged instead of them being on unemployment. Most have security clearances and are well trained.
My goodness, Howard. Some fool I heard said, “An 18 year old is too young to own or buy a gun; they are just children!” Why, our fathers and grandfathers taught a lot of us to shoot at 5 and 6 years old. No, they didn’t let us carry the gun simply because it was too heavy and they wanted us to know from watching them how to carry one safely anyway. These have to be people raised in the city, I assume. Some of us were varmint hunting on our own by the time we were 10 or 12 years old. Good read!

One of your best! I only want to comment on the age to buy a rifle. My parents bought me a .22 rifle for my13th Christmas. Now I doubt there were age limits back then, but ,ex’s people were NUTS and more people knew right from wrong. we learned how to use firearms. Parents can still buy rifles for their teenagers and make Birthday, Christmas presents. Granted that parents will be held responsible if the kid goes nuts, but most parents and especially rural parents who this path know their kids
growing up in Phoenix by 9 or 10 every boy had a BB gun (I still have mine at 84) I never saw a boy point a gun at anyone else.(neither did any of my friends) we also carried knives to school about 3 or 4 inches. I never saw a knife used in any way except to play Mummby peg a came to making it stick in the dirt. Never saw a knife used in a fight even in high school our society has changed.

He was president majority stock owner of a HMO and hospital company in N.carolina that ripped off the government of billions $,when called before a grand jury he took the 5th amendment over 50 times..The company was fines 1 1/2 billion dollars ,nothing happened to scott.he should have been sent to prison. There most have been a payoff to some one. I guess it pays to be a crock sometimes.

I think everyone is missing the obvious reality. It’s not about guns or mentally ill people with access to guns. It’s about a society that had lost all sense of morality and respect. Additionally, our total tolerance of totally unacceptable social behaviour and minor crime has enabled this evolution. Until, we face the real problem, all the gun laws and restrictions will do nothing. And by the way, it’s not the government that can fix this.

You do NOT know what you are talking about. My Hubby has a Concealed Weapon License, with a full background check. It was NOT easy to acquire.
Arming a bunch of leftists in our schools might not be the best of ideas, even if you can convince the UNION to allow an extensive background check for all individuals applying. Good luck.

The “ARM WILLING & CAPABLE TEACHERS & SCHOOL STAFF . . . THE REAL FIRST RESPONDERS & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TARGETS”, are the same as those who are there at an accident, able to apply FIRST-AID, which can be a difference between life & death before the EMP arrives. It would be nice if the Public Servants (Bureaucrats) could be much more accountable in their work, for they are the career ones that can do the damage.

The first murder that was ever committed was when Cain killed Abel with a rock. Are we going to outlaw rocks ? And if you ban guns, then you must ban cars to stop drunk drivers from killing over 4,000 people this year alone. An then you must ban cell phones because they make people text and cause more accidents and death than drunk drivers.
