FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IS VERY MUCH UNDER ATTACK

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS ONLY FREE IF IT’S TRUE:

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:

I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS PUBLISHED ON MY BLOG:

Being able to COMMENT at the end of each editorial is a PRIVILEGE . . . NOT A RIGHT.

Therefore, I have ZERO TOLERANCE FOR LINKS in the COMMENT Section of Galganov.com.

If you wish to send me a LINK through my private email address at [email protected] that’s fine, since I have filters that will protect against viruses, worms, ad-ware, mal-ware, and defamatory websites . . . etcetera.

And if I receive a problem through a bad LINK, at the very least, it will not contaminate a huge number of people.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS ONLY FREE IF IT’S TRUE:

Please DO NOT write your ASSUMPTIONS about people in the COMMENT Section as FACTS.

In both our countries, in Canada and the USA, we who fight for FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION are under constant attack from the LEFT, through our Politicians, Educators, Government Agencies, and our Courts . . . SO DON’T GIVE THEM A REASON TO DO DAMAGE.

When you make claims . . . for example, that “might” be true, but are not substantive, it throws the door wide-open for defilers of FREE SPEECH, to walk into Galganov.com with all guns blazing.

BESIDES . . . I want this BLOG to be seen and known as a responsible and accurate conduit of FACTUAL information, which also includes YOUR OPINIONS in the COMMENT Section.

IT’S TIME TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH:

We are less than a week away from Christmas, so I don’t see me writing any editorials between now and December 26th. But I will write a New Year’s Message before January 1, 2016, prognosticating upon what I believe we can expect in the New Year.

FOR NOW THOUGH . . . to all my Christian FRIENDS and Christian VISITORS to this BLOG, in keeping with how I was raised by my Jewish Parents to respect our Christian neighbors, it gives me the greatest of pleasure in wishing all of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.

AND REMEMBER THIS . . . Whether you are a believer or not, whether you are a Christian or not, Christmas is all about Celebrating the Birth of Christ and his message of GOODWILL, which is far more than just a Holiday Season to shop and spend money.

And when someone says to you . . . MERRY CHRISTMAS – SAY IT BACK.

For Christmas Eve, Anne and I will be celebrating her 65th Birthday, together with Stryker and April the Cat, over a gourmet meal I will be cooking.

And for Christmas Day, we will be celebrating with Christian Friends in their Austin area home. I LOVE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.

May all of your dreams and wishes come true.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  20. Happy Birthday to Ann. Howard, meals cooked by the spouse is always better than going out and having someone else cook for you. This time of year is special to me as I am a survivor of a six way open heart bypass three years ago. Each day is a present but this time of year with family and friends is very special. As you say this is the time to celebrate the birth of Christ. Those who say happy holiday are admitting that it is a holy day. May you have a very Merry Christmas.

  21. Happy Birthday Anne. I just celebrated my 83rd yesterday, Dec.18, and we will celebrate our 63rd wedding anniversary on Dec. 26. Howard, may you and yours have a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, a Happy Hanukkah. Thank you so much for your insightful blog. I appreciate it very much and never miss reading everything you write. So few people are as informed as you are or are willing to spread the truth. Be well in 2016. 22. Wishing you and Anne everything that you wish for yourselves.

Happy New Year. I hope that it brings you health and happiness. Please let me know if you are ever planning a visit to the Phoenix area. I’d love to meet you both. Maybe have you to Shabbat Dinner?

  23. Forty Five years ago i was visiting in the home of Senor Pedro Chapa and his wife Mildred in Cuernavaca. I loved to talk politics. He and I were chating and I asked him why it was that the US always got the short end of the stick when we dealt with Mexico. I will never forget his exact words as he looked me in the eye, “Peggy, we like a strong sword and you are a bunch of wimps”. Does that tell you what the world thinks of us. We deal from weakness, not strength. Trump will change that.

  24. Howard, I get excited when I see a new blog, from you. Yep, I am addicted to the Howard Galganov Blog!!! It’s really nice to know, that others think the way I do. I wish Anne, Stryker, April the Cat and you a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year. Anne, may your birthday be extra special, with many, many more to come. Anne your husband is loved by many of us, who read and respond to his blog. You are Wife of the Year, for sharing him, with all of us. 🙂

  25. Howard & Anne…..you both certainly deserve a holiday break! Happy Birthday, Anne—-wishing you many, many more! Also, wishing you both a Very Merry Christmas & a Very Healthy, Happy & Wealthy New Year! There is no doubt in my mind that you, Anne, Stryker & April will have a GREAT Christmas Eve, and that your “gourmet meal” will be excellent! Those who have pets know exactly how happy they make you feel! Peace be with you both! AMEN!

  26. I wish you and your family A Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to Anne. Happy
Chanukah and a Happy New Year! Keep the outstanding blogs coming. I read every
    one.

  27. I take exception to what Peggy Bland and her buddy Pedro Chappa wrote, whoever he is. If you watch the American soldiers with children. There seems to be a bond there. I don’t think it is because the soldiers are whimps. I think it is because they are kind to the weak when they are allowed to be. Children and animals seem to understand the difference. But, no matter how kind or gentle keep pushing and ……..Well….

  28. Bill: I believe Peggy’s and Mr. Chappa’s comment about a weak USA was directed at the lack of resolve shown by our political “leaders”, rather than toward our military men and women, who to me continue to present themselves as our best and brightest. Not a wimp among them.

  29. Have a great holiday season to you Anne and the pets. I can only wish that my other Canadian friends grasped the current situation as well as you.

  30. Just returned from a vacation and deliberately left my ‘puter at home. Have a lot of Galganov plus emails to read. I started with your latest first. Looking forward to more. Thanks for a unique education since 2006. Wishing you the best of the Holiday Season and a happy 65th to Anne.
