Let’s Give Thanks . . . And Let’s Not Forget About The Truth

SO NOW THAT I’VE GIVEN THANKS & PLAYED NICE . . . LET’S GO TO WAR:

I HAD WRITTEN A CRITICISM OF THE WAY TRUMP IS OPERATING:

But before publishing that Editorial, I remembered that today is Thanksgiving in the USA, to which I have to wish EVERYONE a Heartfelt Thanksgiving, especially this year, because Obama is on his Way Out, and Crooked Hillary Clinton will NEVER be a President of the United States of America.

AS CANADIANS . . . Anne and I celebrated Thanksgiving on October 10th, which we sort of missed out on, because I had to Watch one of the Debates and Write about it, even though we were invited to what was I am certain a Fabulous Family Thanksgiving Supper, with Two Wonderful Friends at their Horse Farm, and their equally Wonderful Son and Daughter.

But now that we’re in the USA, we get to have another Kick At The Can, with Good American Friends in Leander Texas (near Austin). So how good is that?

AND AS HARD AND AS CHALLENGING . . . as this past year might have been for many of us, including Anne, Stryker and Myself, whether it has been about Health and/or Financial Stuff . . . we have to look through the Dark Days to ENJOY THE LIGHT.

And as for Stryker, who had some Serious Health Issues, which required major surgery, which is far behind him now . . . Anne, Stryker and I have a great deal to be Thankful For.

AND TO BE SELFISH . . . I personally have to be THANKFUL for how my Galganov.com BLOG has grown over the past year. And how FORTUNATE I am to have such a great number of Readers and Commentators.

And I am extremely Thankful to the People who helped SUPPORT this BLOG one way or another.

BUT WE ALSO CAN’T FORGET:

I don’t Write and Publish this BLOG to be Politically Correct, or write the things I think the Readers will necessarily Agree with. I write what I believe, and if that Infuriates people from time to time and costs this BLOG some Revenue with which to Carry-On and Grow . . . SO BE IT.

BUT NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE . . . Now is the time to reflect on what a Great Year Anne and I had, from this time last year, to this time this year.

Anne, Stryker and I are Blessed with the People whom we care about, and those who care about us. And we are also Blessed for our Small . . . and Occasional Not so Small Victories.

And I Truly have to be Thankful for my Ability to Communicate . . . that people care to read what I write, which to me is no small Achievement.

The Horses are doing very well. And so is April the Cat. And this relatively new Lifestyle, which Anne and I chose seems to be wonderful. We get to Travel throughout much of Canada and the USA. We meet REAL People in what the Highfalutin LEFT like to identify as FLY-OVER COUNTRY, which Anne and I like to think of as DOWN HOME.

SO I DON’T WANT TO RUIN THIS THANKSGIVING WITH VITRIOL . . . when all of us have so much to be Thankful For, even if we can’t necessarily see it for the looking.

So, I just deleted about 6-Hours of Hard Negative Writing . . . to spend about one Hour writing this Editorial about why Life is Good. And it made me feel great to write it.

I PRAY for all of you to have a Great Thanksgiving . . . and to enjoy the Fruits of your Labor, whatever they may be.

Thank you for Reading Galganov.com . . . for your Emails and your Comments. And I promise, the NEXT Editorial won’t be quite this nice.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  1. Not sure how they can accurately track your sojourne in the US.
Chances of their even questioning you are extremely remote. If they do, they have to prove you have been in the cty longer.
On the other hand, just behave like an arab and they will forgive all.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Anne, Stryker, and April the cat. Thank you for reminding us to appreciate what we have. I am so grateful for the fact that Trump won the election. The only explanation for his win is that prayers were truly answered!

  3. Touché, Howard! Thank you for allowing us to express our views regarding your Editorials! I’m sure that the multiple and various comments have helped many people understand the political issues-at-hand, and have also encouraged them regarding future events. Hope that you, Anne, Stryker and April have a GREAT DAY. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

  4. Your last blog was very negative toward Trump .Just remember he is the U>S>A> president,so give him a chance to act and appoint who he wants and give him some time and if he does some wrong I will be the first to send him a e/m.
Hope every one has a happy thanksgiving.

  5. Thank YOU for all you do, and a Happy Thanksgiving to the Galganov family! One thought about the negative commentary and suppositions about so-called Trump “changes in position”. Let’s wait to see what he actually DOES about his promises before we buy the gleeful MSM criticisms.

  6. Thank you Howard for the information that you have provided us. Refrain from criticism of Trump and hold steady until he gets in office. The MSM is construing everything to make us upset with Trump just like they did before the election. As far as prosecuting Hillary, I feel strongly it will happen. He just does not want to upset the apple cart before he takes office and BHO pardons her. BHO can still create a lot of damage before he leaves office to spite Trump’s win. He is a sociopath.

  7. Happy Healthy Thanksgiving to Howard, Anne–all within your family and to all of us ((YOUR))) Da-plorabe bloggers on your web sight..

I do enjoy reading names, and comments from all the different areas of Our Country’s.. YES…Much to be Thankful For..

The Newly elected Chef has the Keys to the Kitchen..Cant wait to see what He is cooking.. and serves up in Jan. 2017…..

Again —-Much in Good Health and Gods Blessings to all..Merry Christmas, and Praise Jesus..

  8. America welcomes you, Anne and Stryker. You are part of us. We love dogs and love people who cherish their dogs as wonderful companions. Happy turkey day.

  9. Happy Thanksgiving…USA style. Just keep saying what is in your mind, Howard. That’s why we love your blog. To you, Anne, Stryker and April the cat, we wish you all the best. Enjoy your time here! And thanks for giving us the opportunity to vent on your blog. It sure feels good to be among friends. 🙂

  10. Happy Thanksgiving to all of the people who read and comment on this blog. I enjoy reading what everyone has to say. Thank you Mr. Galganov for providing great commentary on all the subjects you cover. I’m up in Northern Alberta in the middle of no where working(Thank you God) so coffee/lunch time become great events as I get to read your blog and the comments. Again, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

  11. “I woke up this morning to thank God for my blessings because I knew it wouldn’t take long. Here it is three days later, and I’m still going strong.” This, I am sure, will take all year.

  12. I’ve so much to be thankful for this year that I can hardly contain myself. Happy Thanksgiving!

  13. If you’re healthy, you’re wealthy. Gratitude is the greatest attitude. If you found it easy to marry UP, then do yourself a favor and let your wife work on you. Definition of a stranger: a friend you haven’t met yet. Thanksgiving Day is expressly meant for us to give thanks to God, not for the fifty million turkeys that were sacrificed for our taste buds. Thank you sincerely, Howard. I can guarantee you that thousands of people who have never even met you love you with all their heart, as do I.

  14. We all have to remember what Trump said over and over again, “He will never let the enemy, or opposition, know his stratagy. During the primary there were so many times I was somewhat concerned about what he said, but as I sat back and watched what he did, I was so amazed. I learned to take a breath and NOT listen to media. THat said, Happy Thanksgiving.. no better place to spend it than Leander, TX.🌞😀😁

  15. Thanks to the Almighty God who created us and gave us the right and the freedom to express our prayer of thanks publicly and openly. God bless Howard and everyone who contributes to this blog. I pray that one day, people of every race, every color , and every faith may strive to live together in peace and harmony. That would really give us all something to be thankful for.

  16. My wife and I just returned from a Sar El volunteers’ hitch in Israel and besides everything else, we have to give thanks for the existence of that little country with its wonderful people. Raging fires notwithstanding, may G-d continue to smile down upon her, as well as Canada, where we grew up and the USA, where we now reside.

  17. Thank you. We, the deplorables, have much to be thankful for you and your blog.
You mentioned Leander. My great-grandfather settled two miles west of Leander in Bagdad (the original Leander before the railroad was laid wide of the mark:) ). Grandfather was born there.

  18. Blessings Anne and Howard! We are happy to have you in our once great and soon to be great again country!

  19. Wish you, Anne, Stryker and April a special Thanksgiving. Glad all of you are doing well. Thanks for all your Special Blogs and editorials.

  20. Just got off the phone with one of my sons who lives in Austin. He was heading to the course for a quick nine before everyone of his extended Polish/Mexican/American family’s get together for Thanksgiving Dinner. Enjoy the weather. Like with my son I will think bad thoughts about you guys and your weather when the sleet, snow, ice, and cold hits the Detroit area.

  21. Dear Howard,

We have so much to be thankful for. God has delivered us (from the evil in OUR OVAL OFFICE).

May God’s Blessings continue to be upon you, Anne, Stryker, & April the Cat throughout this year and always. Thank you for all you do. You are truly a Blessing to all of us, your readers. Have a “Blessed Thanksgiving” Howard, Anne, & Family.

  22. We have so much to be thankful for, living in the USA, but we must be ever vigilant. Freedom isn’t free, as the saying goes. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Howard, and Anne, Stryker and April the Cat. I will be thinking about you, there in the Austin area, close to where my brother and his wife live, in Round Rock. There are a few Trump supporters in liberal Austin area!

  23. Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends who follow this blog, as well as to Howard, Anne, Stryker, and April the cat. As one of the few Canadians who follow Howard’s blog, we celebrated our Thanksgiving last month! I must say I am SO glad that Trump won the election! Hopefully we won’t see much of Hillary in coming days! I only wish we had an adult in charge of our wonderful country of Canada! I fear Trudeau is essentially giving Canada away to his friends! Prayers appreciated!

  24. Happy Thanksgiving Howard, Anne, Stryker, April the Cat. We are ALL grateful for having HOPE once again for our country, our people, our lives. Keep up the good work.

  25. Extra blessings to all this day of thanks. My special blessing is sharing the day with two daughters,son-in-law and three very wonderful grandsons. Life is good and with God’s help all things are possible. Billie

  26. Happy “merican” Thanksgiving to you and family, as my friend Jessica Facebooked today. Hard to keep up with Jess as she may be managing the Canadian embassy in Islamabad or trying to get the consulate out of a gorgeous home in Buckhead and into a condo where Elton John lives. I have had it both ways many times. Columbus day/ Canadian Thanksgiving at Alice’s cottage on Rainbow Lake, Bollingbroke road,36, South of Maberly with a hundred friends and then back to Georgia.

  27. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Anne….

I did learn one thing re Donald Trump… not to believe the press only what he posts on his sites and what he’s saying on his YouTube site … I’m sure you have the links to them …. one even includes an opportunity to say what you’d like….. If you don’t have both links, let me know and I’ll send them via e-mail.

  28. Hope your Thanksgiving was as great as ours. Rule #1, no Politics. Rule #2, watch Football. Rule #3, great Happy Hour, Rule #4, chow down, and then some. Refreshing that is what it is all about.

  29. Howard I would like to respectfully ask. ! That you would consider waiting until the Captain is at least at the stern. Before you start criticizing the direction he is steering the ship. You can not judge a leader by the people he has chosen to lead. Who are you or I to know or guess his reasoning. If I were going into a Lions den. I would consider a leashed and controlled Lion to lead my way. Condemnation at this point can serve as any positive advantage. Again Respectfully I ask for wisdom.
