WE HATE POLITICIANS BECAUSE WE DON’T LIKE LIARS:

ALMOST ANYONE WAS BETTER THAN CROOKED HILLARY:

During the Republican Primary . . . Before Trump won the Nomination, I Rang Many Warning Bells about Donald Trump. And even before he entered the Race, I used to detest those Monday (I think it was on Monday) Mornings, when he Appeared on Fox and Friends on Camera or by Phone.

I always saw Donald Trump as an EXTREME NARCISSIST, who said whatever it was that benefited him at the moment. And if you don’t believe me, just check the Archives.

SO BEFORE I GET INTO THE EDITORIAL . . .

Just about anyone was BETTER than Crooked Hillary, who is nothing more than an Extremely Wealthy Political GRIFTER. So, when Trump won the Primary, I RODE WITH TRUMP ALL THE WAY.

And as such, I’ve Earned the RIGHT to be his Critic, and Hold his Feet to the Fire.

SO WHO’S RIGGING THE SYSTEM NOW?

As far as I’m concerned . . . Trump is Playing Games with the people who put all of their Trust and Faith in him. I supported Trump because I believed in what he said he was going to do, even if I believed that he wouldn’t do all of it. BUT . . .

TO CONTINUOUSLY PROMISE . . . to go after Crooked Hillary as he campaigned at just about every Rally he attended, where people in the THOUSANDS and TENS of THOUSANDS chanted LOCK HER UP . . . LOCK HER UP only to renege is not good.

And now, all of a sudden . . . the CRIMES Crooked Hillary committed against the PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA . . . seem not to be such a BIG DEAL after all. But it’s a Big Deal to Me, because, if Trump was NOT serious about the Second Most Incendiary part of his campaign, next to Building The Wall, which ignited the Passion of his Supporters, so what else did Trump LIE about to get elected?

It also seems that Trump’s KEYNOTE Pledge to Build The Wall, and deal with ILLEGAL Immigration, isn’t nearly as much a Keynote Pledge as he led everyone to believe it was, since he forgot to put Building the Wall and KICKING OUT ILLEGALS in his First Published 100-Day Agenda.

TRUMP NAMED SOME GOOD PEOPLE TO THE CABINET . . . BUT:

Trump led off with THREE good choices, Jeff Sessions, Mike Pompeo, and Mike Flynn. But now we’re hearing that Trump wants to name Mitt Romney as the Secretary of State.

So what was all of the EXTRAORDINARY INSULTS and claims by both men against each other, which under normal circumstances, were at the least DEFAMATIONS of the Highest Order, such as Trump calling Romney a CHOKER and Romney calling Trump a FRAUD, which stoked the ANGER & ANGST within the Hearts and Souls of the people who supported Trump against Romney – such as me?

And what about Lying Ted, Little Marco, and Low Energy Jeb . . . did they really mean nothing except for some mean Vitriol?

And now . . . all of a sudden . . . Romney’s an OK Guy. How’d that happen?

And for some unfathomable reason . . . Trump has chosen South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to become his US Ambassador to the United Nations.

Besides SURRENDERING to the LEFT for Votes, by Disparaging the History and Culture of the South, by BANNING the Stars & Bars, and openly campaigning against Trump during the Primary, what has Nikki Haley done to earn such a position?

LET ME REPEAT THIS . . . ALMOST ANYONE WAS BETTER THAN CROOKED HILLARY:

But with every Passing Day, I’m praying that Trump will not be the Person I thought he was before he entered the Race . . . but I don’t have a good feeling.

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR TO EVERYONE . . .

1 – Support Trump, because like it or not . . . he’s the Best Bet we have.

2 – Don’t EXPECT Trump to tell the People the Truth, since he’s already LIED and MISLED the People. I don’t see the difference when it comes to Honesty and Integrity between him and any other politician. Hopefully he’ll prove me wrong. But I doubt it.

3 – And for me . . . and as far as I’m concerned – THE HONEYMOON IS OVER.

I want Trump to do the Things he PROMISED he was going to do. But so far I’m neither impressed nor hopeful.

I want Trump to build the Wall and Get Mexico to Pay for it. But I don’t see that happening.

YOU CAN’T BREAK A SEMINAL PLEDGE:

I want Trump to PUNISH Crooked Hillary the same way any REGULAR person would be punished for the crimes she committed. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon, since Trump more or less already said – that . . . She’s Been Through Enough, And He Doesn’t Want To Hurt Her Family. Where’s that consideration ever given to an everyday STIFF who breaks the Law? Especially at that level, and to that degree?

And didn’t Trump repeatedly call-out FBI Director James Comey, for the way Comey Conducted the Enquiry and the Conclusion Comey came to, not to Prosecute in the face of  Insurmountable Evidence?

And are we to forget how upset Trump was with Bill Clinton’s HALF HOUR PLUSCHAT” with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the Las Vegas Tarmac, in violation of every legal Protocol one can imagine?

So what happened? Is it simply let Bygones be Bygones?

I want the 2nd Amendment to be recognized on a National Basis, right across America as Trump PROMISED, where there will be ONE LAW common for all States, based upon the actual way the Second Amendment was designed to be, where each State can’t play fast and loose with it. But now, who knows, since I don’t see this on the Top of his Agenda either?

I want to see the American Embassy Moved to Jerusalem, perhaps that might happen, but I have my Doubts.

I do feel relatively comfortable . . . that Trump will balance the Trade Agreements. And I believe that Trump will make significant changes to Obamacare, but I’m really IFFY that he will ACTUALLY REPEAL IT as he said he would.

AND AS FOR DRAINING THE SWAMP . . .

Why Drain the Swamp when you will be the BIGGEST Swamp Creature in it?

SUPPORT TRUMP . . . But do it with both eyes wide open. And don’t believe everything you hear or see, since for Trump, this might be nothing more than his Final Chapter in his Art Of The Deal. The proof will be in the results.

  1. To you HG and all of our talk show hosts etc. that see and know what is going on, spreading the word and helping people understand Obama and the left, Thank You. I am starting to think that Vincent Dainotto might be right. As much is and has gone wrong and no one can or will do anything to stop them. Obama looks more like Hitler all the time. As is commanded, they do. Boehner invites Netanyahu and Obammy has a childish meltdown fit backed by his crybaby pisspant liberals. What will come of it?

  2. Once again Howard, you’ve read my mind and spoken my thoughts.

  3. I could not agree more. I am sick of go along to get along and even sicker of liars.

  4. It seems now Obama is wonderful, he doesn’t want to hurt Hillary, she has worked hard and been through enough. These appointments are suspect. I wrote to him and told him to be careful. We the people think we live in a Banana Republic and he should think twice about HRC. He looked like our best hope but I feel as you do now. Nothing will ever change. He will be a one term president.

  5. Mr. Hussein el Barrack bin Obama is planning to pardon Mrs. Clinton. Mr. Trump may be preempting that with a contorted promise… I will wait and see what happens after inauguration.

  6. I am afraid that you are right as usual, Howard. It was a nice little fantasy- too bad it has already ended. I fear for our country and think we are all but finished. If we ever needed God back in this country–IT IS NOW more than ever!!

  7. You folks already disparaging Donald Trump should consider a few realities. No matter how good a candidate may be, to get elected requires motivating enough people to actually get out and vote. It’s marketing….and necessary. Further, while he was elected by half the voting population, the other half will need to be taken into account. Given his pre-election popular image, and the wild eyed protests since his election, he needs to focus on what REALLY MATTERS. Hillary is toast.

  8. The man is not in office yet. The “quoted content” of his words is, at best now, suspect. May I suggest that we give it at least 100 days from his installation as President to see what he is/will do. While I am somewhat suspect as to some of his
“apparent/reported” actions I have been around long enough to know that what is “reported” is not necessarily what is true.

  9. Isn’t it a little early to be castigating Trump for not making “Jail Hillary” a top 2 agenda item. Gamesmenship is what is happening. He doesn’t need to wave that flag. Others are following up on that issue, maybe the FBI. He knows how to play the game better than his foes. He has already proven that. We need to wait until after the inaguration before we can really “hold his feet to the fire”. I’m betting we will be pleasantly surprised. Thank you, K. Cavanary Knoxville, TN

  10. Romney will not be SecState. If he were going to be, Trump would have said so by now. I think he’s trolling Romney as payback.

  11. Trump was given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to right the wrongs that were destroying America. If he breaks his campaign promises the betrayal will be stunning and will lead to a DemonRat resurgence in 2020. From the start I warned everybody that the man was a phony. A real conservative would drastically reduce the size and cost of government and would slash the bloated bureaucracy to a bare minimum. He would also get the US out of the UN and get the UN out of the US. That’s for starts.

  12. Trump will distance himself from political liabilities such as the wall and Hillary prosecution, but – that does not prevent Congress from pursuing those same goals, providing Trump cover and accomplishing the same goals. He will “reluctantly” sign legislation or go along with Congressional investigations and again “reluctantly” offer the Justice Department to sign off on a Grand Jury to examine in depth the crimes that Hillary and her minions have committed.

  13. Trump is a deal maker. He might well be setting HRC up so she is not pardoned and is she is fair game after 1-20-17. Romney is not going to become sec of state. Trump has to do a few things to unite the party, at least show he wants to try. I am not going to disown him before he is out the starting gate. But I will after a 100 days if he shows he is playing us and he has all the Trump cards in his hand.

  14. Howard…. You are into my head again! I hit the sack last night muttering to myself…….Ya just can’t trust any of these bastards…..NONE of them. I wondered a lot before he was elected if this might happen, and sure as hell here we are. Still better than the Marxist criminal and traitor, Hillary, but I am losing faith…….again. There must be something in their DNA, and it STINKS!!!!!!!!! How do these people live with themselves? Let’s hope we’re wrong this time and Trump comes thru.

  15. I’ll go along with what you’ve said, to a degree. But in the face of an opponent or adversary, isn’t it better to “wait for the moment”?
As in a poker game, never “tip your hand to the other players”! Trump just might have something “SPECIAL” in store for Hellary, that would really blow her out of the water, without any of O’Bummer’s chance of pardoning her!

  16. Howard I think that we HOPE that the swamp will be drained, but, give him his 100 days to at least START the drain. I think that I’ll just sit back and watch, and, hope for the best.

  17. I too am somewhat disappointed. However, I expect that we’ll hear some credible explanations of changes in direction.
For example, the “wall” might turn out to be a drone-monitored strip of land, that acts as a wall in keeping illegals out.
And the cost might turn out to be negligible, so Mexico needn’t bother to pay for it. Re: Hillary: “We started to investigate,
and found that it would cause more trouble to The U.S.A. than it was worth.”

  18. we sure think alike….. although I was for Trump before you were. Now I am dismayed at the Haley pick, she is a frigging RINO, cant be trusted….does this mean he is for Paul Ryan too…..and him just thinking about Romney is a mortal sin in my mind.. getting disappointed by the day with what I hear especially about letting HRC off the hook… Trump is losing my support by the day, although he is still better than HRC. Sure hope some of this is the rope-a- dope tactic

  19. Surprised and very disappointed that Donald would give Romney any recognition, as no one deserves it less. Now that the veneer is cracked could George Soros be next?

  20. I think Trump is SMART, sort of CALMING THE WATERS, lets be PATIENT and see what ACTIONS he takes after Jan 20

  21. We need to give the man some leeway at this time. He has always opened his mouth without thinking before he speaks. The Hillary issue is meaningless. No matter what he does or says before he takes office, Obama is going to pardon her just as Ford did for Nixon. You can bet on that! As for the wall, he needs Congress to appropriate the money. That may be a real problem when you listen to the likes of Schummer. His big problem is going to be Congress.

  22. I suspect Trump is operating the same way he does when making/arranging a deal for one of his building projects, picking those he feels are best for particular jobs (don’t like Haley pick either). If they mess up, they will be out. I can’t help but admire a man who doesn’t drink/smoke & raised his children the same way. Like others here, we have to give him the benefit of the doubt until we SEE what he actually does/gets accomplished in 100 days. He’s wheeling & dealing, what he does best.

  23. I wish there was some way that we could get The Pres-Elect to read this one. I’m on your side all the way.

  24. I’m going to KEEP THE FAITH! on the Hillary deal, it is my suspicion that trump has backed off that because he has found out that there is already an investigation going on that will result in her public execution but he is playing dumb on the situation to head-fake Obama into thinking that he is not persueing it so Obama wont feel like he needs to pardon her. Once Obama is out and Trump is sworn in, hopefully without pardoning the wicked witch then by golly, all bets are off she is done for!!

  25. In the Primary, Trump was fierce, relentless and strong, and we loved it. Right now he’s putting that strength into choosing the right people for his cabinet. Apparently, forces are still at work investigating Clinton’s crimes against America, so this is a wait and see. This may be Trump’s way of settling down her supporters. He’s a shrewd deal maker, so although I’m disappointed RIGHT NOW, I can’t ignore the possibility that he WILL impose law and order upon all, including crooked Hillary.

  26. Not Trump’s responsibility to prosecute Hillary Clinton (he has “bigger fish to fry”)! Wait for AG or Congress to do this! Wall can’t be built in “100 Days”- probably has to go out on bid! (Since we can’t “use the bricks Democrats have shit” for this- like “joke” says!) Lots to be done and “undone” by this next administration! Why are Jews “protesting”, claiming “their lives are in “danger”) since Trump got elected, when Trump is definitely “Jew-friendly” and “pro-Israel”? Give him time!

  27. And now backpedalling on climate change too. I’m more than peed off on hearing all of these softened stances from Trump. And so soon! I’ve always maintained that politicians that make promises that they refuse to keep, promises that actually were relied upon to actually get them elected in the first place, should be subject to perjury charges, and consequences thereof, no differently than if they testified to their veracity under oath in a court of law.

  28. Aw….c’mon!!! Give the man some time. He knows what he is doing….he’s smart and shrewd but needs time to sort out the mess. At the present time he has to “walk on eggs”….so many people happy to attack him whatever he does.

  29. The Donald is now acting like a politician saying one thing before elected and doing some think else.I understand that the senate has had a investigation into the clinton foundation and I suspect he will back door support this. We will have to wait to see if he
will follow through with what said he will do as President.I personally have not been a fan of Trump but votedfor him like many as hillary was a evil person.

  30. I know Trump is a pragmatic businessman, BUT he did make some ongoing promises to the people and he must follow up.
Crooked Hillary – Justice – “She should be in jail.”
    Build The Wall
    Better Jobs
    Better Trade Deals
    Lower Taxes

  31. IT”S SAD TO SAY THAT OBAMSS STARTED OUT THE SAME WAY,MAKING PROMISES TO THE PEOPLE OF WHICH NONE WERE EVER KEPT. PEOPLE VOTED FOR TRUMP FOR THE CHANGES HE PROMISED, AND NOW HE SEEMS TO BE FOLDING AND GIVING IN TO THE SAME OLD ROUTINE THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS.THE MAIN ISSUES SEEM TO BE FADING AWAY. THE CLINTONS MUST BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE FOR ALL THEIR TRANSGRESSIONS ,AS THEY ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW. IF TRUMP’S PROMISES ARE NOT KEPT, ALL THE SUPPORT FOR HIM WILL BE FOR NAUGHT!

  32. Vickie always tells me to pay attention to what Trump does….and not so much what he says. I will therefore remain rather non-committal and give him some slack for the time being. I am, however, paying close attention and will continue to watch him like a hawk.

  33. Howard I have followed your editorial for many years. I have found a lot of wisdom in many of your writings. But I feel like you are jumping the gun. This could and would turn into a very difficult transition if the Hil’Liar’y issue, was put on the table. A true investigation of Hil’Liar’y would bring down the entire Liberal democrat House of Cards. You are plenty smart enough and informed enough to realize that consequence. Wisdom says you don’t steer the ship, until your Hands are on the Stern

  34. No doubt, Obama will PARDON Crooked Hillary re: her emails, but she, et al, are still being investigated re: the CLINTON FOUNDATION. TRUMP cannot get OFFICIALLY involved in HRC’s outcome, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be able to assure [in some manner] her suffering the repercussions of her ILLEGAL actions either! ROMNEY should NOT become Sec. of State. Trump SUPPORTERS must give him a chance to PROVE himself. We will all get a much better PICTURE after his first 100 days in office. AMEN!

  35. Strangely, I did not take what Trump said like some of you. He does not need to go after her personally Jeff Sessions and the FBI under his administration can do that. He can then claim that justice prevailed. Also if he still proclaimed to fry Clinton, Obama would pardon her. There is also another consideration and that is that he may not wish to commit suicide under mysterious circumstances like many others, who become a problem to the Clintons.

  36. As with many conservatives, Trump was a “better than the other” choice for me. I had deep reservations that he would keep any of his campaign promises. As President Ronald Reagan said, “Trust but verify.” Well, if Trump does not seek out a special prosecutor or if his DOJ/FBI appointees do not pursue criminal charges for Clinton’s crimes at the family foundation and as Secretary of State, he will have verified that I was right not to trust him to keep his word.

  37. As many, I am disappointed with what he’s not saying about hrc. I can and will hold on to the hope that he doesn’t want to tip his hand and that he will have the “powers that be” in the Justice Department do the job. If not I too will be more than disappointed. I think he’s trying to calm the storm around him and I pray I’m right and that he will do all that he said he would….

  38. You are forgetting April 30, 2011. “Obama roasts Trump at White House”. Mr. Trump was totally and completely humiliated. Pay back is coming but it will be so much sweeter because Obummer will have his guard down after the inauguration. Trump will get his pound of flesh one way or another……..

  39. Howard, you’re jumping the gun. Step back and take a breath. I think you need to wait for the first hundred days, don’t you………really? Give the man a CHANCE! JJJJEEEEECCHHHH! Gene Albright Visalia, Ca USA

  40. HG, I agree with Gene Albright (Who needs to see her name and city twice), plus others who advise you to take a chill pill. Timing is everything.

  41. I was listening to Rushbo this morning and the issue of HRC came up. Prosecution of her will be up to Jeff Sessions as the AG. Trump is a pragmatist and knows how to get things done. This way she can go to jail and he does not have to have direct responsibility. The FBI agents who have been working on her case and on the foundation will not allow this to go to sleep. Have faith in the system.

  42. TRUMP, WE VOTED FOR YOU AND ELECTED YOU BECAUSE YOU WERE ‘THINKING ALONG THE SAME LINES’ AS WE WERE !!!!!!

NOW, IT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE ‘TURNING TAIL’ AND BUDDYING UP TO THE DEMS AND CLINTONS, OBAMAS !!!!!!!!!!

ARE YOU LETTING US DOWN? ARE YOU PLAYING PATSY TO THE DEMS? THE DEMS TORE THIS COUNTRY DOWN AND WE WERE HOPING THAT YOU WILL BUILD IT UP AGAIN…….CAN WE COUNT ON YOU TO REPRESENT US REPUBS.?

HILLARY AND BILL AND OBUMA ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW…..THEY BELONG IN PRISON FOR TREASON !!!!!!

  43. You said it – “…his Art Of The Deal. The proof will be in the results.” He’s not president yet and I would think he wouldn’t want to give it all away by alerting HRC and Obuma to his actual “plan of attack.” Give him time to actually be able to get to work and have the ability to do something. Then – we can see what his real intentions / actions show us. I know I’m being optimistic, but I wouldn’t want to let them know exactly what I was going to do. Let them find out when I do it.

  44. I do think Trump is concentrating on the things that will be important to get the job done. I don’t think Romney will be S of S. Trump could be just setting him up for a well-deserved putdown. Actually, not appearing to be interested in Hillary could be good strategy – then Obama might not give her a blanket pardon, and she could be pursued by the FBI later, or by the State of New York, which evidently has all the evidence against her. I think Trump is shrewder than he looks. We’ll see.

  45. Howard, time will tell the tale! Trump is super busy selecting his Cabinet, as he should be. What he is doing right now is normal for a President Elect. We all must remember that even the Congress is in limbo, waiting for the new session & newly elected members. Trump will be President on 1-20-2017 & not a day sooner. Right now, this is Lame Duck time, for everyone. I will wait until I see what Trump’s first 100 days are like. I am being very hopeful, that my vote for him was a good one.

  46. Really Howard?
First time I ever was disappointed in you!
Give the man a chance, he is shrewd and has reasons for these decisions.
You are pretty quick to write him off before the guy has even been inaugurated!
Personally, I believe this will prove to be a very good decision for him, leave the pardoning to BHO and he does not
seem vindictive. I believe he has bigger problems to solve, so how about cutting the guy some slack.

    joyce sacks, Westlake Village, CA

  47. Howard, I can understand your fury about Trump vs Hillary. Truthfully I think he had to do this now and say that he is not going to prosecute her, because as far as I am concerned, he would have put himself in the noose to be deposed of before inauguration. The Clinton machine including Soros would have made sure that Trump will not see the light of day to be sworn in as the President. That is my belief, Steve Acre, Canada

  48. Howard I love all your editorials and read them all. I think right now we need to give Mr. trump time to get in the White House and see how his first 100 days go.
    Keep up your good work
    Don

  49. I wouldn’t be so sure Trump is going to let hillary skate. He was VERY clear about his strategy for dealing with ISIS. “You don’t tell the enemy WHEN you’re coming, WHAT you’re bringing. . . etc.” So WHY would he telegraph in advance to hillary that her days are numbered? Isn’t it his job to appoint an FBI director, a Department of Justice head, etc.? Do you REALLY think THEY are just going to sit on their hands where hillary is concerned? Oh, you doubting Thomases.
