Don’t Tell Me – Show Me . . . Don’t Talk – Do!

SUKKOT . . . THE JEWISH CELEBRATION OF THE HARVEST:

TO FUNDAMENTALIST CHRISTIANS . . . Sukkot is Celebrated as the Feast of the Booths, or the Feast of the Tabernacles.

But In Essence . . . To Jews Like Me – Sukkot Is A Celebration Of Two Things:

1 – It is the Celebration & Commemoration of How GOD gave Sustenance to the Jewish People, as they Wandered for 40-Years throughout the Desert in Search of the PROMISED LAND (Israel) after the Exodus from Egypt, under the Guidance of Moses.

SUKKOT . . . OCTOBER 4TH TO OCTOBER 11TH:

2 – It is also . . . But Especially To Me, MORE SIGNIFICANT AS THE JEWISH FEAST OF THE HARVEST, in other words . . . My Jewish Expression & Celebration is of JEWISH THANKSGIVING, where Jewish People Worldwide, Construct small Huts with Thatched Roofs called Sukkot, from where . . . for the Duration of 8-Days of Sukkot, we all enjoy our Meals in a Flimsy Structure, more or less open to the elements, to Depict the Lives of the Farmers and of the ephemeral lives of Jewish Exodus Wanderers.

We were supposed to have a Sukkot Lunch Today (Sunday, October 8, 2017) in our Sukkot, with many of our Christian and Jewish Friends, but, because of heavy Morning Rains, and Substantially High Winds, we’ve called-off the Lunch in the Sukkot, but nonetheless, Anne and I enjoyed our Traditional Jewish Feast with Jewish Traditional Foods in a more Conventional Setting.

SUKKOT . . . UNLIKE MOST JEWISH CELEBRATIONS – IS A TIME OF JOY:

Jews don’t get all that much Opportunity to have JOYOUS Celebrations, since we always seem to be Celebrating some kind of Survival of one Type or Another. So, when it comes to Sukkot, and the Celebration of the Harvest, I’M-ALL-IN, Especially this Year, since the Jewish Thanksgiving and Canadian Thanksgiving both fall on the same time.

WHAT ARE MY JEWISH THANKS – FOR WHICH I AM GRATEFUL?

While it is TRUE, that Anne and I live in a Free Country (so far), and that we have such an Incredible Neighbor to the South of us, and that we are GIFTED with the PRIVILEGE to spend Half a Year Living in the USA, while enjoying American Hospitality, and that in spite of getting OLDER-KVETCHES, we are both Reasonably Healthy, and our Lifestyle is somewhat of a Fairytale Existence for Anne, Stryker, April The Cat & I . . . I ALSO HAVE REASON TO WORRY IN THIS TIME OF CELEBRATION.

The Day Doesn’t Pass In Europe . . . When a Jewish Man, Woman, Boy or Girl ISN’T Assaulted Verbally or Physically. The Day also Doesn’t Pass in Israel, without a Palestinian-Arab trying to KILL an Israeli Jew, or celebrates the KILLING of Israeli Jews.

BECAUSE OF NIKKI HALEY . . . The US Ambassador to the UN – Overt Anti-Israel (Anti-Semitism) HATRED, has been somewhat Subdued . . . but certainly NOT Diminished.

REMARKABLY – IT DOESN’T GRIEVE ME . . . That an Incredibly Popular British Political Leader (Labor Party – Jeremy Corbyn) is such an Outright Anti-Semite, who might become England’s Next Prime Minister, SINCE I EXPECT NOTHING LESS FROM THE BRITS.

But It Does Bother Me . . . FAR MORE THAN JUST SOMEWHAT – that there are slightly more than a Quarter of a Million British Jews, who everyday are Facing an ONSLAUGHT of Overt and Covert Anti-Semitism from their own Government, the Moslem Hordes who have become part of the UK, and from far too many Christian British Citizens, who have ALWAYS HAD AN ANIMUS to the Jewish People.

IN TERMS OF FRENCH JEWS . . . who today Number less than a HALF-MILLION CITIZENS, who not all that long ago, were a French Population of more than 600,000 Citizens, are under CONSTANT & DAILY THREAT, only because they’re Jewish.

And in spite of Everything the French Government is Trying to do to Alleviate the Fear & Trepidation of France’s Jewish Community, they might as well be Spitting Into The Wind for all the Good it is Doing.

EVEN IN THE UNITED STATES . . . AND CERTAINLY IN CANADA TOO:

ANTI-SEMITISM IS RIFE Throughout North America, with Academics & Elitists PUSHING Jewish Boycotts in the Name of BDS, where North American Jewish LEFTISTS have CHOSEN Socialist Anti-Semites over their “OWN KIND” and Conservative Values – where there is an Imminent Threat, which North American Jews will One Day Wake Up To Discover . . . That They’re On The Wrong-Side Of History.

WHY WON’T HE HONOR HIS PROMISE?

As I’ve Written Multiple Times . . . I am NOT at all Pleased that President Trump, when he was Candidate Trump . . . PROMISED – OVER & OVER AGAIN . . . to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as one of his First Acts after being Sworn-In as President of the United States of America, to which he has ABSOLUTELY RENEGED-ON.

AND NOW I’M EVEN LESS PLEASED . . . When I read that President Trump WILL NOT Move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, until AFTER he finishes Negotiations for a Peace Deal between the Palestinians & Israelis.

SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Does it Mean that the Embassy-Move To Jerusalem . . . was NEVER a Real Promise, and was ONLY a Negotiating Chip in Trump’s Middle Eastern “ART OF THE DEAL”?

Because . . . if it is, as it really seems to be, That Would Make Trump No Better Than Obama, and all the Other Presidents, which have Claimed to be Israel’s Best Friend Ever, until it really came down to the Fundamental Expression of Friendship and Loyalty, simply by SIGNING A SIMPLE RESOLUTION to Move the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

AS A MATTER OF FACT . . . IT’S ACTUALLY FAR LESS COMPLICATED THAN THAT:

Since Congress . . . by an almost Unanimous Vote on October 23, 1995, Passed the Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act, which Empowered and Demanded that the President of the United States of America, MOVE the US Embassy to Jerusalem . . . Which All Presidents – From Clinton . . . & Now Trump – HAVE REFUSED TO DO, simply by signing an Understanding every SIX MONTHS . . . that the US Embassy SHOULD NOT BE MOVED.

If the President DOES NOTHING, and Does NOT Sign a Declaration to keep the US Embassy from Moving to Jerusalem, the US Embassy would automatically be Relocated.

SO . . . IN FACT – The US Embassy will NOT move to Jerusalem, SOLELY Because the President of the United States of America DOES NOT WANT IT TO MOVE TO JERUSALEM, in spite of DONALD TRUMP’S SOLEMN, REPEATEDLY MADE PROMISE, TO MOVE THE US EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM, AS SOON AS HE BECAME PRESIDENT.

WHILE IT SEEMS TO BE TRUE, that President Trump is a Real Friend to Israel, REAL FRIENDS DO NOT TREAT REAL FRIENDS IN THIS MANNER. This is what one can ONLY Expect from ISRAEL-HATERS Akin to Barack Hussein Obama.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND MR PRESIDENT:

VIRTUALLY . . . The Whole World Is Against Israel & Against Jews. YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP MADE A PROMISE. It was a Simple Promise, which required ZERO Financial Costs to America, NO Negotiations with Congress, and NO Effort on your behalf. BUT YOU DIDN’T DO IT.

ISRAEL IS NOT A NEGOTIATION . . . And any Peace Prospect with the So-Called Arab Palestinians, will never come to Fruition, because these Arabs . . . HATE Israel & Jews, More Than They Love The Land They Claim For Their Own.

SO HERE WE ARE . . . HERE I AM – CELEBRATING THE JEWISH HARVEST . . .

Feeling somewhat LESS Celebratory than I really should, in spite of all the Bounty we are Blessed with, because of all the Events Unraveling throughout the World, but Specifically within Europe, and amongst Islamists led by Iran . . . VOWING TO WIPE THE JEWISH STATE OFF THE MAP, much like the World IGNORED Hitler and his Evil Publication Mein Kampf, it’s almost as if we’re RELIVING THE 1930’S ALL OVER AGAIN.

AND TO MAKE MATTERS GO FROM BAD GO TO WORSE . . . President Donald Trump Is Playing Politics With the Heart, Soul & Future Of The Jewish State – IN SPITE OF HIS PLEDGE TO DO OTHERWISE.
