A LIFESTYLE WORTH CHANGING

A CHANGE IN WRITING STYLE IS ON THE WAY:

ON THE ROAD BY NOVEMBER 1, 2014:

Anne and I are just a few weeks away from a wholesale change in our lifestyle, as we pack the house-hold contents and prepare for a life together between Canada and the USA, living out of a Five Star RV in absolute LUXURY, at a REAL honest-to-goodness fraction of the cost in comparison to our conventional lifestyle, which we will very soon be leaving behind.

WE ARE NOT RETIRING . . . NOT BY A LONG SHOT:

Anne will continue to run the Advertising Agency, while I will continue to advocate, organize, write and publish. But not with all the other obligations and overpowering stress points which were crushing us.

Because Anne and I will no longer be spending a full day out of every 5 days from mid-May to September just to cut the grass, about an hour every day to clean the house (vacuum, dust etc), and at least one hour every day to muck the barn, and an additional hour every day to otherwise tend to the horses, and about a week every month to groom the riding/hiking trails, and at least a week (twice) during the hay season to make hay and store it, and about a week at the end of the fall season to prepare and store all the equipment, and about a week in the spring to get the equipment ready for another season, and about a week in the spring to cleanup after winter, and a week in the Autumn to prepare for winter, WE WILL HAVE A GREAT DEAL MORE TIME ON OUR HANDS.

AND SINCE we will not be in the NORTH through winter, we will also not have to worry about HUGE heating bills, winter storms, deep snow, ice, power shortages, changes of bulky clothing . . . ETCETERA. This too will be personally LIBERATING.

THE HORSES ARE LIVING IN THE LAP OF LUXURY:

The HORSES are still living the GREAT life they’ve always lived, and perhaps even better, because they are now on a large Equestrian Center where there is a great deal of interaction with many people and about SIXTY other horses.

Our three BOYS have their own large paddock with two large shelters, non-stop fresh running water, and no shortage of delicious hay. Life for them couldn’t be better. And soon enough, we’ll put them to work in the equestrian center’s riding school, so they can get exercise and stimulation.

A CHANGE IN WRITING STYLE IS ON THE WAY:

As you might have noticed in the last EDITORIAL, it was a very short by comparison to my usual editorials. It dealt with three issues: It was to the point and quick to read. THIS IS GOING TO BE MY NEW STYLE.

I will try to keep the editorials short and sweet . . . AND PUBLISH MORE OFTEN, and use LINKS to delve into more details for those who want to know more.

LIFE IS SO SHORT THAT NONE OF US HAVE A SECOND TO WASTE.

Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

  1. Yes, I also am all worn out just reading your schedule. Your new writing style is fine with me – as long as we keep on hearing from you on a regular basis. Much happiness on your new ventures. Drive carefully.

  2. The fact is America had the choice to vote for women twice (Clinton vs Obama as democratic leader and Sarah Palin as possible VP) and they bombed on both of them. Instead of women seeing the value of a woman in high office, they chose instead to side with leftist media, to ridicule and make fun of a bunch of silly, unimportant stuff which accomplished nothing. The clear choice was still for the man. The perceived ‘racial’ male is still higher value than the female in US politics.
