One Way Or The Other

WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR:

I received a great many letters concerning my end of year editorial, which forecast a less than rosy 2014. Most of the letters agreed with my prognostication, even with reluctance.

Some of the letters weren’t so sure, but would have much preferred a less dire prediction, with a more upbeat look at the future. But, no one disputed the facts as they were presented.

We are now a few days into the New Year . . . just as we left the old one with horrible politicians wherever we look, far too many restrictions on our FREEDOMS, and far too many people with their hands-out looking for a free ride.

We will continue in 2014 to lose the initiative that created our once upon a time great nations, and, we will continue to see governments grow in size and incompetence, as entrepreneurial people who are the engines of our economy shrink in prominence and progress.

We will see BIG companies, BIG banks and BIG insurance providers getting even bigger as they squeeze out the competition, with the help of a bloated and far over-regulated bureaucracy.

We will continue to see the Stock Markets playing fast and loose with our nations’ money, as if our currencies were part of their private Casinos . . . And in America, we will watch them play with nearly FREE money printed by the FED and distributed by the banks, before the House of Cards comes tumbling down.

We will see the government tax and charge us EVEN MORE for services no matter where we turn. And we will see them squeeze us relentlessly with all forms of taxes on our gas and diesel fuels until we can no longer afford the FREEDOM of driving when and where we want.

The American economy will collapse on Obamacare . . . along with Obama’s grotesque deficit and debt as he pulls Canada and the rest of the world down with it.

And even in Canada, where have a relatively Conservative Federal Government that is at least making an effort to keep down the costs. It will not be enough.

OUR SYSTEMS OF GOVERNANCE ARE NOT SUSTAINABLE:

And when all the dust settles . . . who will the government turn to, to backstop the OBSCENE costs of public pensions, perks, and other entitlements covered by the disappearing taxpayer?

One way or the other, whether we like it or not, there will be a SOCIAL Revolution in our respective countries. There will either be a total peaceful upheaval of the way we do government. Or there will serious consequences.

AND THAT’S THE WAY IT IS GOING TO BE . . . WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT:

In spite of what any bureaucrat or politician wants the people to believe . . . we have run out of money. And we are rapidly running out of people to create the wealth and jobs needed just to keep the wheel turning.

IT’S ALL GONE TOO FAR TO STOP THE DISASTER:

It has virtually become irrelevant how we will vote in the near future, since the result will ultimately be the same.

If the LEFT or RINOS are voted back into power, which is very possible, the system will collapse under its own weight, sending people into the streets, many of whom will riot just like we saw in the SIXTIES.

If the Conservatives come into power, which is also very possible, there might be a controlled collapse, where people will still take to the streets. But at least the outcome could be predictable.

In both scenarios though, there will be massive unemployment. There will be plenty of demonstrations, riots and broken glass. And there will be no shortage of RACE RIOTS and violence.

The only difference between a NON-controlled collapse and a controlled collapse will be in containment, and how long the nightmare will last. But either way, it will be a nightmare.

THEY’LL KEEP ON PRINTING MONEY . . . UNTIL MONEY IS WORTH NOTHING:

As it shapes up today, the only remedy our governments seem capable of providing, is in printing money. And how long do you think that will last before our currencies’ values become valueless?

And who do we have to blame for this incredible mess?

Take a LONG HARD LOOK in the mirror, and see if you were one of the people who voted for a government that promised FREE STUFF? Or if you voted for a politician who was full of crap, but you liked him or her anyway? Or you voted without knowing anything about the candidate or candidates you were voting for or against. AND THE LIST GOES ON.

As Obama’s RACIST Black Liberationist Pastor, Jeremiah Wright had so famously said in one of his hate-filled sermons . . . THE CHICKENS ARE FINALLY COMING HOME TO ROOST.

For those of you who think I’m wrong . . . Think back to never-ending history, where great societies have ALWAYS crumbled under their own weight. And ask yourself this question . . . WHERE ARE WE ANY DIFFERENT HERE AND NOW?

Just as I’ve done in my entire life, I still have no intention of sugarcoating anything. So, if you want to read and hear what I believe to be the truth in 2014, this is where you’ll find it. But, if you want it sugarcoated, look elsewhere.
